Health, Safety and Sustainability
As a leading and experienced construction materials and property group, we are aware that our work has a substantial impact on the communities in which we operate: socially, economically and environmentally.
As a group of Companies, we strive to meet our sustainability commitments. We collaborate with local authorities and other organisations to demonstrate best practice in all our sustainability practices.
We are also committed to ensuring that a culture of safety and wellbeing exists for internal and external colleagues and customers throughout our organisation. Conducting our business in a safe environment for all employees, contractors and any other parties affected by our activities is our top priority.
Social, Community and Charities
We continue to create positive relationships within our community, by providing donations and sponsorships to local groups and sports clubs.
We support a number of fundraising and charity initiatives, with our employees and directors taking an active approach in raising funds to support Non Governmental Organisations. For instance, employees have taken part in the Memory Walk for Alzheimer's Society and the Royal Parks Half Marathon for UNICEF.
As a Group of Companies, we are also proud of the direct impact we have made in impoverished regions. We have provided funding for water boreholes in Malawi, allowing thousands of families access to safe and clean drinking water.
